Epic Playdate is a creative brand consultancy
We build visual narratives for the brands that won't blend in.
-
We help founders, operators, and culture-makers turn what they already know about themselves into a visual narrative their audience can actually feel.
Every brand we work with has a why. Most have it buried under templates, stock language, and the version of themselves that was easier to sell. Our job is to dig it up, sharpen it, and build the system that lets it walk into every room ahead of you.
-
We work with founders, operators, and culture-makers who've stopped accepting the version of their brand that was easier to make.
Two patterns show up most often:
The Launcher. You're starting something — a company, a category, a chapter. You know what you're building, but the visual language doesn't exist yet. You need an identity that walks in already feeling like the inevitable answer to a question your audience didn't know they were asking.
The Shifter. You've outgrown what got you here. The brand that worked at one stage doesn't translate to the next — and the gap between who you are now and how you look is starting to cost you. You need a brand that catches up to where you actually are. Fast.
-
Discovery-first, always. No design before strategy. We start with questions before we pick up a tool. The work that follows is informed, intentional, and built to last.
Strategy is the foundation. Everything else sits on top. Visual identity, websites, presentations — all of it is downstream of the strategic work. If the foundation isn't right, the design won't save it.
Built so you can run it. Our sites are self-run. Our identities ship with guidelines your team can actually use. We're not building a dependency — we're building a brand you can own.
Direct line. No middlemen. You work with Becks and the team. No account managers, no handoffs, no telephone game between you and the people doing the work.
-
Strategy over decoration. Pretty without purpose is just decoration. We design with reasons.
Lands, not converts. Brands are felt before they're clicked. We build for emotion first, math second.
One look, many rooms. Identity systems flexible enough to flex with your business — and rigid enough to stay yours.
Self-possession over performance. The work should sound like you. Not us. Not a trend. Not the agency next door.
Completion over perfection. We finish things. We launch things. We let work be seen instead of polished forever.
Generosity as standard. We treat clients like adults. We don't gatekeep, we don't withhold, we don't perform expertise.

Rebecca Orlov is the Founder and CEO of Epic Playdate.
She loves culture — why people are influenced, how they behave — and she's made a career out of turning all of that into visual stories. Two decades in advertising producing TV commercials and content first. Then three years in healthcare, running marketing for a health plan. Now five years into Epic Playdate, and counting.
Rebecca tends to go first. She tests the new tools and frameworks before her clients need them, then brings back what's worth keeping. She started working with AI as a creative collaborator before it had a press cycle — partly because that's how she's wired, partly because she's mom to a Gen Alpha, which makes signal-spotting a daily practice.
Born and raised in D.C. Roots in LA and New York. Now home in Las Vegas — with her daughter and her family.

Behind every project is a group of incredibly talented consultants — creative folks and seriously smart people who come in based on the scope of work in front of us. Graphic designers. Site builders. 3D artists. Avatar designers. Experiential producers. Strategists. Copywriters. Animators. We work with the right person for the brief — not whoever's sitting on a bench.
The brief shapes the team. Not the other way around.
That's what makes the model work. We can flex large or small, fast or considered, hands-on or strategic — without ever compromising the quality of the work or the kind of people you want in the room. Every collaborator we bring in is vetted, trusted, kind, and seriously good at what they do.
